Modernize & Strengthen NAA Operations

 A modern and efficient FAMU NAA will drive stronger alumni engagement and better support for FAMU students, faculty, and programs. We will streamline operations, improve financial oversight, and expand educational initiatives to create a more effective and well-connected alumni network. 

Digitize & Automate Operations

• Implement digital solutions for financial transactions and record-keeping to ensure transparency and ease of use between national and local chapters.
• Regularly assess NAA's technological tools to maintain efficiency and data security.

Establish an NAA Education Program ("Dean of NAA Education")

• Develop a year-round NAA Leadership Education Series to train and empower chapter leaders.
• Offer courses such as "How to Run a Chapter," "NAA 101," and "NAA for Future Leaders."

Improve Financial Oversight & Board Management

• Strengthen budgeting with quarterly variance reports.
• Ensure full financial transparency of convention activities.
• Implement better decision-making processes by ensuring board members have adequate time and resources to review key initiatives.

Coordinate More Effectively with the University

• Establish clear and timely communication pipelines between FAMU and NAA chapters for athletic, musical, and fundraising events.

Create a centralized portal for alumni to track FAMU-related events, particularly athletic away games and recruitment efforts. 

 By eliminating inefficiencies and strengthening governance, FAMU NAA will operate at peak performance, empowering alumni and increasing capabilities to support FAMU.
