Artisha R. Polk is a dedicated Life Member of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association, Inc. (FAMU NAA) and a passionate advocate for her beloved alma mater. A second-generation Rattler with a deep-rooted commitment to FAMU's legacy, Artisha brings decades of experience and a proven track record of leadership to her candidacy for President.
Her vision is clear: Energizing and uniting FAMU alumni across generations to foster innovation, collaboration, and lasting prosperity—building a stronger FAMU today and FAMU forever!
Artisha's leadership is defined by action and results. She has successfully served in seven FAMU NAA chapters, region, and national offices, demonstrating her unwavering dedication and ability to navigate complex organizational structures. As National First Vice President, she has led the President's Town Hall Meetings, standardized regional reporting, and chaired crucial committees, driving efficiency and accountability.

Accomplishments
NATIONAL IMPACT: Significantly increased NAA's social media engagement, established electronic newsletter, revamped convention workshops and programming, and led the charge in updating policies and procedures.
REGIONAL EXCELLENCE: Chartered three new Northeast Region chapters, developed a regional strategic plan, improved chapter compliance, launched the region's first online store, and re-established scholarship funding.
CHAPTER DEDICATION: Served as a key leader in the Washington, DC Metro Chapter, created the series, "Parliamentary Points," providing parliamentary expertise and fostering member education.
